Joey Quinton.jpg

Joseph Quinton,

My name is Joseph David Quinton and I am the newest member elected to the Board of Directors.  As an inveterate reader and life-long supporter of the Pulaski County Public Library, it is my most sincere pleasure to serve the library staff and patrons within this capacity.

I am married to my best friend, Mitzi Dawn Quinton, and we have one son and one granddaughter, who is the apple of our eye.  We also share our lives with two Shih Tzus, Isabella and Daisy Grace, and one Yorkshire Terrier, Ozzie.

Following twenty-nine years in the classroom, I retired from the Pulaski County Board of Education in December 2015 and I now fill my days reading even more than I did previously,  I read classical fiction (especially the Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian eras), literary fiction, contemporary fiction, fantasy fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, cozy mysteries (limited to religious, bookish, or reading themed) Christian fiction and nonfiction, and Jewish fiction and nonfiction.
