Do you have a notary? What does it cost?

Yes! All notary services are free; however, we do not notarize car transfers or deeds..


Where is the bookstore? And what are the hours for the bookstore?

The Friends of the Library Bookstore is located in the basement. Take a left from the elevator/stairs and go down the hallway. The Bookstore is the 2nd to last doorway on the left. The Bookstore Hours are Monday-Friday: 9a-5p and Saturday: 9a-4:45p


Do you have a genealogy section?

Yes! Our Historical Society is staffed by volunteers and is located in the basement. Take a left from the elevator/stairs and go down the hallway. The Historical Society is the 2nd door on the left. The hours of the Historical Society are: Monday-Friday: Noon-4p and on Saturday by appointment.


Do you have meeting rooms?

Yes! The Meeting Rooms may be booked by calling the Library at 606-679-8401.
The rooms are available anytime the Library is open (Monday-Friday: 9a-7p and Saturday: 9a-5p) unless otherwise booked. The Meeting rooms are available for Pulaski County business, and/or non-profit organizations for civic, cultural, information, or educational programs or meetings. Programs and meetings must be free of charge. There may be no solicitation, promotions, or sale of items, unless sponsored by the library. Groups using the Meeting Rooms may not distribute literature, brochures, or other materials to library customers.  Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. The Meeting Rooms may not be used for private social functions such as showers, birthdays or recitals.


Yes, copies are 10 cents a page.
You also get five free printed pages each day with your library card.
Free prints are not valid for photocopies or Xerox copies.

I have a lot of pages to print/photocopy.
Can I do that many? 


Can I print a document directly from my cell phone?

Yes! The Library now has wireless printing available!

Can I donate books in memory of someone?

Yes! We take donations in memory of individuals. You may make a monetary donation and a donation notification will be sent to the family (or whomever you would like the notification sent to).


I received a card saying that a book has been donated in (person’s) memory? What is that about?

The Library purchases a book in memory of Library users. A book plate is placed in the front of each book stating it was purchased in memory of the individual. A card will also be sent to the family notifying them of the book purchase.


Can I get a Passport?

Yes! We do offer passport execution services! You may stop by the Library anytime during the following hours: Monday, 9a-4p, Tuesday-Friday, 9a-6p and Saturday, 9a-4p. No appointment is necessary. If you would like a list of items you will need to complete your passport, you may call the Library at 606-679-8401.


How many days do DVD’s checkout?

They checkout for 7 days.
